01 · ChallengeChallenge
A government-led business mission to Argentina and Chile needed an identity of its own, one able to unite dozens of participating companies under a single visual banner. The challenge was to condense three countries and a diplomatic relationship into one simple mark, without resorting to literal flags or maps.
02 · ApproachApproach
I built a symbol out of fragmented color blocks that interlock along a continuous arc, suggesting trajectory and the closing of distance between territories. The colors are pulled directly from the flags of Portugal, Chile and Argentina, and a small detached star along the path reinforces the idea of a route and a destination. The bold, all-caps wordmark beneath it, "Missão Empresarial," gives the more gestural symbol a solid, institutional anchor.
03 · SolutionSolution
The resulting system was applied across folders, letterhead, envelopes in multiple formats and business cards, always set against the brand's deep blue or white, with the same color-block sequence acting as a graphic signature along the footers. The outcome is a cohesive institutional identity that gives every participating company a unified, instantly recognizable presence across every piece of collateral.
