01 · ChallengeChallenge
Quinta da Nogueirinha needed an identity that could justify positioning its mountain honey as a premium product, in a market where honey is often treated as a commodity shelf item. The challenge was building a brand with the weight of origin and tradition, giving the product the presence of a family estate rather than a factory line.
02 · ApproachApproach
The symbol fuses the “Q” of Quinta with the silhouette of a walnut tree, placing the tree's canopy inside the letter's own counter and closing the base with a small ribbon-like flourish that gives the emblem an almost heraldic finish. The classic serif typography of the name and the warm tone of the kraft paper reinforce a sense of heritage and hand-made production, while five hexagons — a direct nod to the honeycomb — act as a graphic signature and hint at a quality rating.
03 · SolutionSolution
The finished system applies consistently across packaging — a wire-tied kraft paper pouch, a glass jar with a dark label — as well as hang tags and business cards. The result is a quietly elegant shelf presence that communicates rural authenticity without leaning on the category's usual visual clichés.
